Challenges overcome
Uneven, moss-covered slabs made the patio unusable for much of the year. The clients wanted a surface that visually continued their grey porcelain kitchen floor through bifold doors.
Installation process
We overlaid the sound existing slab with a levelling course, then hand-trowelled Portland Pearl resin bound aggregate to within 2mm of the internal floor level, with a discreet slot drain at the threshold.
Before & after results
A perfectly level, puddle-free terrace that reads as one continuous floor from kitchen to garden. Zero maintenance beyond an annual wash.
