Resin bound can be installed year-round in the UK if the weather cooperates. But some months work better than others — here's the honest specialist view.
The ideal window: April to October
Consistent ground temperatures above 5°C and dry laying days are what matter. April to October delivers both reliably across most of the UK, with June and September historically our busiest months.
Winter installation reality
We install through winter, but only in confirmed dry windows and never when frost is forecast within 24 hours of laying. That means later start times, warmed materials and occasionally a re-scheduled day.
The lead-time trap
Because so many homeowners want a spring installation, the March–May diary fills first. Book a survey in January and you're guaranteed a spring slot; book in April and you're often into July.
