With dozens of aggregate blends available, colour choice is where many homeowners hesitate. A few designer principles make the decision straightforward.
Work with your brickwork, not against it
Red brick homes suit warm golden and sandy blends like Chelsea Gold or Somerset Sand. Rendered and painted façades pair beautifully with cool greys such as Portland Pearl or Nordic Ash. Stone cottages look wonderful with cream and oatmeal tones.
Consider contrast and borders
A contrasting border — say Ebony Fleck framing a lighter main field — sharpens the composition and hides tyre marks near the road. Darker blends generally disguise leaf staining; very pale blends reward more frequent washing.
Always sample in situ
Aggregate colours shift dramatically between showroom lighting and your own driveway at 4pm. We bring physical sample trays to every survey and leave them with you through a full day of changing light.
